So my awesome friend asks me to take some photos of her because she is a photog herself and is rarely in front of the camera. She has this amazing idea that she wants to give her children something for Mother's Day, something that will always remind them who she IS, as a mother, yes, but as a woman and a person too. We took off work early and headed to the sweetest little pear orchard to spend the afternoon capturing a little bit of the essence of Stephanie. More on my website.
My daughter, Indy, will always be my little girl who, with dirty hands and messy hair (often full of petals), brings me handfuls of flowers. I try to capture them so she will always know how special it is to me.
Wish I could predict the weather and be able to schedule all my shoots after rains because the colors are so vibrant, the air magical and the light amazing!

Traveled a bit this weekend to visit and shoot Libby and Aaron, who are expecting their first baby soon. They were a wonderful, sweet couple and it was a joy to get to do this for them. Here are a few of my preliminary faves. More are in the maternity gallery.
