Don't know if many of you know, but I spend an equal amount of time making a living as a graphic artist as well as photography. I designed this poster for my oldest daughter, who is getting ready to head to college, so she remembers that just being herself is the best thing she can possibly be. Had a lot of positive comments and a few requests for copies, so thought I'd make it available in my Etsy shop. Not with her name, Shade, of course, but personalized with whatever name you like, or even "Just be you" or "Just be." It is sized for framing at 11" x 14" and will be printed on premium quality matte or glossy photo paper. Super bright and fun and I think such a worthwhile message.
I've had a few requests for prints so thought the easiest way to do this was add a separate page, "Prints for Sale", under the "Photo Projects" heading on the right. Under each image you will see a "Buy This Image" link. Clicking it will bring you to a window that shows all the images on the page. Just click on the image you want and the next window that comes up will show the different sizes and options available. It's sort of a simplified way of adding this option to a few of the images that I think have a broad appeal (not someone's specific photo session.)
I've not been thrilled with the speed with which the photos in the galleries load, so I think I'm going to try going a different route. I like the size I can get with the blog-style photos and they seem to load much faster (the galleries I suspect use some kind of Flash voodoo.) I'm going to be switching the galleries over to this style so if you see things looking a bit different, that's why. Any opinions one way or the other? Love to hear 'em. So far, "Small fry" is the only one converted.
Have a great week!

My first session of the year is all about a new one on the way. Perfect for the new year. The mom-to-be is 35 weeks here, isn't that an adorable bump? Can't wait to meet and photograph the baby, who I have on good authority will be a girl. Sweet! Thanks, M, you're going to be a wonderful mom!
