The question

C: Mom, how old was Shade when she had her first boyfriend?
M: (Uh Oh) Um, well, she was a freshman, so 15?
C: (Already knowing the answer) Well, actually she was 14.
M: Oh, yea, you're right, she was 14 1/2, why? (Knowing full well the answer.)
C: Well, I like someone and he likes me. He asked me what I wanted for my birthday (next week she turns 14) and I said 'I don't know' and he said 'how about a boyfriend, cuz I'd like to ask you out'.
M: (LOL) Well, you know you can't date till you're 16, so I guess "being boyfriend/girlfriend" means hanging out at school and knowing all your friends "know" you're boyfriend/girlfriend, but no alone time...
C: Oh, I know, but how about group dates - like a whole bunch of us go somewhere public?
M: Um, that might be OK, we'll handle those on an individual basis.
I don't know if I am old enough to have 2 daughters that the opposite sex is interested in. I mean, I AM only, like 27, right??

Look Book Challenge: Use brads

Spent another fun (long) weekend away for a volleyball tourney. This one had a couple long breaks and, girls being girls, they decided they should cheer (meaning to put one of the smaller girls as high in the air as possible.) Was fun to watch as one (who actually was a cheerleader) tried to teach the others the steps necessary to (safely) get another human being on your shoulders. They managed a couple times and no one got hurt - always a plus. This weekend, another 3 day tourney in Spokane.
Followed the Look Book Challenge to use brads for this layout. Have to say, they're not something I use frequently (especially digitally), but now that they're on my radar, maybe I'll remember to pull them out more often.
