My newest collection at scrapgirls.com. A cool, urban paper set with modern colors and textures and fun, unique, versatile embellishments! Hence the name, UrbanInfluence!

I have always had some unexplained fascination with the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration celebrated in Hispanic culture. Don't know why, my guess is that from a purely graphic standpoint the dioramas, alters, figurines and sugar skulls are so irreverently appealing - macabre and downright funny. I love the black, white and red colors and the twisted-ness of them. You can read more about Dia de los Muertos here. (I even have this switchplate in my bedroom, which I bought at The Mexican Museum in San Francisco.)
So in love with "the boy" (the dog) that I had to make a collection and name it after him: ModDawg at scrapgirls.com is my latest kit. Although its not really dog-themed, it is a modern, fresh, graphic set of patterns and colors to spice up your teen, boy, men (and pup!) pics. Works well with most everything but probably the most girly-girl photos (although I used with pics of my girls just fine.)
