June found us starting to get back to normal, whatever that means. I returned to work and my husband started getting strength back until he returned also. We're hoping to get the boat out this summer (we missed last year completely!) and get to enjoy life a little.
Hiccups continued into May and I found keeping a small art kit and journal with me helped pass a lot of time in the hospital with my husband. Many of the things I was feeling showed up in my pages. Had some hiccups starting in April. My husband has Chron's disease and when he is in a flare, all life revolves around his frequent trips to the doctor and hospital. In April, he was admitted 3 times for complications. His last stay going several weeks into May as well. I did have one day when I just couldn't find time for art, so I shared one of my favorite, best-selling pieces.
