Left Coast Impressions [wenatchee visual art + design]

Us "West coasters" often refer to our side of the US as the "Left Coast" ("Left coast is the best coast, yo!") And even though I'm land-locked right now (about 5 hours for me to get to the left coast) I still consider it my favorite place to be. And I know I'm going to retire there someday. When I get to missing it too much, I can pull out my brushes and paints in those colors that call to me and paint up a little memory. I can almost feel the Pacific breeze, hear the gulls and smell the salty tang.

Fill-in-the-blank cards [wenatchee art + design]

Had this jotted down from an idea that came to me in the middle of the night. I love the idea of all-occasion cards that can really go any direction. You fill out exactly what you want to say and thus you'll ALWAYS have "just the right card." Available here (and the link permanently sits in the upper right corner of this page under "Purchasing.")

Shop updates [wenatchee visual art + design]

Love the latest few pieces! Landscapes, Blooms and even a blanket (for your wall!) They're all available in an assortment of sizes, big and small and on home decor and clothes at FineArtAmerica.com and the last four are even available as originals at DailyPaintworks.com.

I also heard today that Ron Evans, owner of the Radar Station gallery in East Wenatchee is publishing a coffee table book of all the post-it notes (including mine!) in their latest show. How fun!

Post-its [wenatchee visual art + design]

Recently found out about the coolest little local art gallery called the Radar Station in East Wenatchee. Owned by local artist, Ron Evans, it's a quirky slice of north central Washington art. Through the end of the year they are hosting a themed "Post-it Note" show where, you guessed it, everything is done on post-its. They're available for purchase at only $5 each. I submitted a handful myself, below. I found it quite addicting to fill those little colored squares!

Lots of new [wenatchee art + design + photography]

I've been a busy girl around here with my colors and paints and papers. What that means is there is lots of new stuff available. I've started selling my originals at DailyPaintworks.com. They offer an online auction so there is a chance at getting handmade fine art at very reasonable prices. And there is always a "Buy it Now" price if you don't want to risk losing it to someone else.

My prints and home decor are available at FineArtAmerica.com and Society6.com. Both sites have different pricing structures (partially out of my control as is the norm for print on demand providers) so please check both locations if you're wanting to find the best price for a particular size or material it's printed on. They both offer framing as well for the prints, as well as canvas, aluminum, fabric, etc, for lots of choices. I have personally purchased my own art and other artists as well from both locations and can attest to the quality. It's wonderful!

For those of you asking recently, all my purchase links can always be found in the upper right corner of this website and blog under the "PURCHASING" drop down. A quick place to go to find all your options.
