The WVC Knights dedicated their home game to "Dig Pink" for breast cancer awareness. So. Much. Pink. Loved it. Great cause and it was a great night with 3-0 win over Yakima. The team goal was to raise $1,000 to donate. Hope they made it! If you'd like to contribute, let me know and I'll get you in touch with the right person!

WVC vs. Spokane Falls CC

Well, we didn't win the match, but we did give #2 in NWAACC, Spokane Falls Community College, a run for their money. Took overtime for them to win the 1st game 28-26. Then they won the 2nd, we won the 3rd and they took the match with the 4th at 25-23. Proud of the WVC girls, all of whom played so well and the gym was pretty rowdy with the tension. Fun night. Wish they could have pulled it off. Each game they play they get better and better, which means exciting games in the future!

Volleyball: WVC vs. BMCC (and yea, we won!)

The WVC Knights played their coach's former team from Blue Mountain Community College Friday night. We were "expected to lose", according to NWAACC. However, we. did. not. lose. Such an exciting match, went to all 5 games and we won 15-13 in the 5th game. So much energy in the gym and the girls, and coach, were beyond pumped. Loved these shots of the coach's reaction upon the win - as neat as the girls' reaction. Way to go, Lady Knights!
