Melissa

I have to show you this photo. My friend Melissa is an amazing photographer, and one of her photos is probably in the top 10 photos I have ever seen. I didn't see a direct link, so this will go to her blog and if you see the post titled "Ava Adore", look at the second photo. They are ALL great, but that one is amazing. I can only imagine how thrilled the parents are to have such a gem.

Book

Bought this book "for Indy" tonight (so I could have it too.) How CUTE is it? SO CUTE it's called The Cute Book. It's how-to for all these adorable creatures. I think I'm going to fall in love with each of the little friends she/we make(s). I notice the same author has one called The Bad Book. May have to get that too. You know, just to be fair and all. Yin/Yang.

Love this photo. Yes, hubby rarely stops for "picture taking" so I take a lot at 65 mph. But, I love the motion here and the feeling I get of "coming home". It's (almost) as good as going.

Girl in the water

Have wanted to do something with this photo from the moment I saw it. Going to also frame a copy of it for the wall, plus it's in a mini-album and now a layout. It just cracks me up. Her peekaboo expression. ANd the colors are gorgeous!

Miscellany (what a great word!)

In response to Erica's post, yes, I see them too. This adorable guy (can you say warm fuzzy teddy bear?) was out on my fence earlier this year. Now I've brought him out of hiding (hibernating, even)!
