She decided she wanted another senior session one week before she graduated so she had a few more photos to hand out (she didn't want to hand out the same shot to everyone) so we did a little impromptu shoot. Love, love how these came out, as did she, which was really my big goal for someone who doesn't like photos of herself. Gorgeous, if only she would see it! You can see several more in the senior gallery.
My own (first) baby is a senior too! Here are a few of her for senior portraits. She's very particular, so I have a feeling we'll be trying again in a couple weeks after I heal up from my surgery yesterday. Right now I feel much like I'd been run over by a truck!

We went to Goodwill yesterday and bought two wedding dresses for the purpose of "trashing." So much fun to do this type of session (see trashthedress.com) and even more so when we absolutely did not have to worry about the condition of the dresses. Will definitely do this again. Plus, since the models this time around were my two oldest daughters, we had some good old bonding time as well.
Yep, they won the whole thing. Which wasn't even "the goal". The goal was to win against U17 Splash so they would get the bid to go to Nationals in Dallas this summer. They did that, so yep, we're going to National$ in Dalla$$ :)
Then they did something else amazing. In the Regional competion for the 18 year olds, they won the whole thing, thus being the first ever younger team (17's) to win an older teams (18's) Regional competition. So they are now the Evergreen Region No. 1 team for both 18s AND 17s :) How can you not be excited about that?
